My husband and I are out here driving around on vacation from Wisconsin. We were referred here by a local and it was AMAZING! We each got a sample platter with ribs, chicken breasts, steak and pulled pork. I’m usually not a huge fan of bbq, but I cleaned my plate and purred the whole way through! Then we each grabbed a slice of cake (strawberry and pecan) and it was the most moist and flavorful cake ever. You cannot miss eating here with such fantastic food and wonderful, local vibe!!

Oh my goodness, this BBQ place was awesome! We had pulled pork nachos, grilled chicken salad, bbq egg and ribs and it all was delicious. Wonderful friendly folks.

I went wild today on the Hog Wild! Absolutely outstanding service from the order counter until the time I picked up the food. They offered sliced pork shoulder that was to die for. The pulled pork was tender and pure flavor. When was the last time that you got a GREAT food plate with two sides for 9 When was the last time you got a large sweet tea for 2 at a restaurant?

I got a shoulder plate with fries and slaw. The shoulder here is the BEST around anywhere!! I have ate barbecue all over KY, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina, and Hog Wild ranks at the top, plus Monroe County and Barren County Ky. are the only places I know anywhere you can get pork shoulder prepared this way!
What a great place to eat. Staff was friendly with great personalities. My friend and I both got ribs which were perfectly cooked, fall off the bone perfect! This is one of those places where if in the area, ya just have to go there. One thing that's never happened before when at a restaurant was we had 3 different people eating there come over and ask us if we liked the food as much as they did. One of those, sat down with us and told about the area. Fun place to go to.
